We've had this about 2 months and use it every day. It's the main stereo in our home.
The iPod dock is a very nice feature, and we just keep our iPod in it all the time now except when we go out since it charges it too. It's also nice to find an iPod stereo that plays AM as well as FM (most just play FM for some reason). The CD door slides open upwards, wich is cool to see. However, if you have a shelf right above it then obviously it can't open (as we do--but we've never used it since all of our CDs are already in iTunes since Playlists are far more flexible and convenient than individual CDs).
My only mild complaint is that the remote buttons are small and not as easy to click as your typial TV remote, and the remote has to be pointed pretty accurately at the stereo to work. Pointing in the general direction and clicking only works half the time.
Sound quality is great to me. Sounds pretty much like your typical stereo. |

| Bought this unit this past weekend - it has it all - cd, iPOD, tuner, powered sub woofer - perfect for my office or any small den/studio at home. Great brilliance in the treble and the subwoofer is not overpowering - just right - - and it looks great on my credenza - sleek, like a Sharper Image product. You will not be disappointed - FAR better than the BOSE Sounddock which we had. Better highs than with the Klipsch IFI - which we have at home, though the Klipsch sub woofer can be VERY impressive. But you cannot beat this unit for twice the price. |

| I received this unit about a week ago and I couldn't be happier with it. I wanted a stereo for my office that worked with my ipod and my xm radio that would also play cds and a decent radio. This unit does it all. I looked at units that were twice as much that didn't have the features of this one. The sound quality is perfect for my office. It looks nice: it works perfectly: I can't think of a single complaint. I bought mine as a reconditioned unit from an Amazon Marketplace seller so it was a fantastic value. If I had to pay full price, I would (Costco has it for $149). |

This is a great little stereo.. You wont be dissapointed in this. Shop around for the best price, picked mine up at Costco for 150. One thing I really like is the remote, its nice and heavy, feels solid in your hand. I don't think you could find a better system in this price range.

I bought the CD-X10i a week ago and am very satisfied. I was looking for a system that could play (and recharge) my ipod mini, CDs, and my sister's MP3 player. It can do all these things, plus has radio. The sound quality is excellent--the subwoofer is what makes it so rich and full. Also, it's nice having the remote (you don't have to sit right next to the player).
The only drawback is that the system is really not portable. There are a lot of cords that make moving difficult.
Bottom line: it's an expensive system, but is totally worth it when considering all of the features and sound quality. |
