Fortunately for listeners, the cool shape doesn't detract from the music, as the CD player still includes all the basics and a few extras. Among the features are standard skip, search, and repeat one and all functions, along with programmable track memory for listeners who want to create a custom soundtrack. When the CDs are played out, listeners can turn to the AM/FM tuner for a less-structured playlist. The CX-CD241 owes its audio performance to its 1-bit digital-to-analog converter, which ensures a clean CD sound, and its pair of wide-ranging side speakers. Rounding out the feature set is a digital two-digit LED display, a telescoping FM antenna, and a flip-up carrying handle. The unit runs on either AC power or six C-size batteries (not included) and measures a compact 8.25 by 5.5 by 8.5 inches (W x H x D). | I have a couple of these Coby CD players and I've given two or three away as gifts. They all work just fine. I rated it five stars because I've never had any trouble with mine or gotten any reports of failed units. If you buy a $25 CD player, you aren't going to get a Bose or a Denon! For what it is, it's a solid little unit. |

| This little cd player is great. I bought it for my neice (3 months old). It plays her lullybies while shes sleeping. I wish they had a selection of colors. Red kind of stands out in a little girls room. |

| We were looking for a simple to use CD player for our toddler's bedroom to help her sleep at night. Her last clock radio/CD stopped working and we needed a replacement. It was surprisingly difficult to find a small, simple CD player (that looked nice) that had a repeat function so the music would run throughout the night. This little guy did just the trick. We've had it for a month now and it works great. Simple to use, compact, and in a variety of colors (our little girl picked out the red). Overall a nice, straight forward purchase. |

| I needed a smaller Boom Box that would sit on my night stand w/o taking up too much space. And also one that was portable enough to take from room to room as well as outside. This one fits the bill exactly. If extreme volume is important to you, this is not the boom box to purchase. Like the box the speakers are small therefore the range of volume is limited. I've been very pleased. Amazon's price for this model was a little higher than on another very popular site. However, it qualified it for free shipping and handling which the other site did not offer. This made the Amazon box a few dollars cheaper. Others have had problems with the quality. I have had the box for three months and it is holding up very well. I Plan to purchase at least two more in the near future. |
